There is nothing in what preceded his statements that would indicate that in his reference to disinfectant and injection, he meant injecting light. If he did, why didn't he say so the next day instead of appealing to "being sarcastic". It's the same old story, anything not complimentary to Trump is labelled fake news, anyone mentioning his gaffs is labelled mentally ill (TDS).

What absolute bollocks. Even Trump himself didn’t claim he was referring to light with his ‘injecting disinfectant’ suggestion – the next day he claimed he was being sarcastic to the journalists. You initially put this down to the lying media, but now it appears you have found a new way to interpret Trump’s ridiculous suggestion. Here’s the transcript for anyone who’s interested – is it ‘clear’ to you that he was talking about injecting a device that disinfected by using light?
“Supposing we hit the body, with a tremendous er, whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light. And I think you said that hasn't been checked, but you're gonna test it? And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body - which you can do - either through the skin or, er, in some other way. And I think you said you're gonna test that too? Right, and then I see the disinfectant - where it knocks it out, in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that? er by injection inside or, or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets on the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. the non-jw pointed out that wwi cant have had anything to do with satan supposedly being "cast out of heaven" because wwi was already well under way in oct 1914.. the jw proceeds to explain that satan was actually thrown down to the earth in 1915 and that he started to wreak havock on the earth from heaven knowing he was about to be cast out.. so 1914 is officially old light now?

Up to a point - if my son turned into a child killing paedophile I would still have the “unconditional love” that I had for him before he turned, just as in your example of a dead relative. But I would not love him now – how could I? I couldn’t love any child killing paedophile, so why should my son be any different just because he’s my son. (He’s not by the way, and I love him now as much as ever).

if what some call Love is "conditional", it is not really Love at all
I find this concept rather confusing. Parental love is probably the closest you can get to unconditional love, but should it be truly unconditional? If my son turned out to be a murdering pedophile, should my love continue to protect him? If he turned into another Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot, should I still love him? Could I even? I don’t think I could. It seems to me that love is always conditional. Conditional on the object of our love remaining a decent human being.

Totally agree with all three of you. On a slightly different slant, I was always amused at those witnesses who gave thanks before eating the wonderful gift god had provided, and then turned their noses up at it because it wasn't cooked to their liking. Such gratitude in the face of so many that are going hungry But why are so many going hungry? - perhaps they just aren't thanking god properly like good JWs.
